What is Chuckaburger all about?

Chuckaburger saw its first customers from a Food Truck on the streets of Brighton and Hove in January 2022.

It was started as a passion project by our Founder Richard; who wanted to share his love for burgers through his trips as an airline pilot all around the globe. A lot of time was spent on the West coast of the United States, specifically Los Angeles, this is where he discovered Californian style smash burgers!

Because the style of burgers they do in Los Angeles is very unique he felt compelled to introduce a burger that Brighton and Hove has not experienced before. Proper smash burgers are a one of a kind, we smash our 100% grass-fed patties on a searing hot grill letting the Maillard reaction create that incredible caramelisation of the beef!

We work with a local butcher in Brighton that sources his 100% grass-fed beef from local farmers around the Sussex area. Our Food Truck is also known as the Chucka Truck and goes to different pop ups in the Sussex.

Chuckaburger’s mission is simple. We want to bring the California burger scene to the United Kingdom and make sure that our customers have a mind blowing experience when eating one of our smash burgers!
