Chuckaburger is seeking a Food Truck Manager for the daily operations of our pop ups around Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and hospitality, coupled with excellent leadership skills. This role requires a drivers license as we need you to drive the food truck from our prep kitchen to our pop up venues. A hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, food safety, hygiene and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the good vibes that we are all about is imperative.

Chuckaburger opened it’s hatch for the first time in January 2022. Chuckaburger’s mission is simple; We want to bring the California burger scene to the United Kingdom and make sure that our customers have a mind blowing experience when eating one of our smash burgers! What will your responsibilities be:

• Smashing Burgers the Chuckaburger way; oversee food preparation, ensuring that all smash burgers meet our quality standards

• Inventory Management

• Uploading of invoices on our bookkeeping platform

• Food preparation at our prep kitchen

• Train and mentor staff members in food preparation, food safety and hygiene standards and customer service

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the food truck, ensuring compliance with Food Safety regulations and comply with Environmental Health rules and regulation

• Engaging with customers, making sure they receive the customer service that we are all about. Actively asking for feedback from our customers to improves our service and practices.

• Handle sales reporting accurately

• Driving the food truck in safe manner according to the Highway Code
